In each case we have shown the lowest price at retail for each year. The lowest retail prices, generally speaking, represent ebony encasements. Example: A Model "B" sold for $1,050 in 1900, in year 2000 the same model sold for $51,200. We have left out such scales as "A" and "C" which are now made in Hamburg, Germany.
